"You Must Respect Your Elders" Sifuna Criticized For Crossing The Line And Calling Oburu Mediocre

Acting ODM Secretary General Catherine Omanyo has caused big talk after she made a very sharp and direct statement about Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.

While speaking during a moment when there is already tension inside the party, Omanyo said she thinks Sifuna’s “hippocampus has shrunk.

This is not a small statement, and many people have taken it as a strong attack on how Sifuna thinks and makes decisions.

In simple words, the hippocampus is a part of the brain that helps a person remember things and think properly.

So when Omanyo said this, she was trying to say that Sifuna is not thinking well or is forgetting important matters in the party. Many people feel this was not just politics, but it became personal.

The words sounded heavy, and they have now spread very fast across social media and political discussions.

This matter is coming at a time when Orange Democratic Movement is already facing small fights inside. Sifuna has been showing that he does not fully agree with some things happening in the party.

He has been speaking in a way that shows he wants to stand firm and not just follow everything.

This has made some leaders feel uncomfortable, and now Omanyo’s words have made the situation even more serious.

People who support Sifuna have quickly come out to defend him. They are saying those words were too much and not respectful. They believe leaders should talk in a calm way even when they do not agree.

On the other side, some people feel Omanyo just spoke out of anger and frustration, and maybe she said what others are afraid to say in public.Right now, the situation is showing a party that is not fully united.

Leaders are starting to speak openly against each other, and this can bring more problems. If this continues, it may weaken trust inside the party and make things harder going forward.

Many people are now waiting to see if top leaders in ODM will step in and calm things down before it becomes worse.
