The suspect whose identity was not revealed was beaten mercilessly after a bodaboda rider discovered he had engaging in illicit love affair with his wife secretly.
Kericho County police commander who confirmed the incident said the man was cornered after a tip-off from some curious neighbours who saw the man enter the woman’s house when her husband was not around.
"He was beaten terribly and he sustained serious injuries on his private parts. He was rushed to Kericho town hospital for emergency. Her side chick fled the scene and we are on her pursuit," He said.
Sources privy to the alleged incident revealed that they were caught watching harmful films at the bedroom when the wife's husband got them red-handed.
Joseph said the wife survived the beating by a whisker and fled to unknown destination.
"She is still missing while her lover is fighting for his life at the hospital bed,"Joseph added.
The latest development come only two days after a similar incident was witnessed in Kisumu County.
